Awesomeness! The 3rd expansion has just a few days ago gone live. With great new features and new maps. Leveling seems to be pretty easy and the new guild achievement features are something nice to work for. All in all Cataclysm is all we expected it to be. Now we can forge the guild with our awesome members and have something to work for together.
Moonkin Hatchling and Lil’ Ragnaros Now Available
Tue 30 Nov 2010 posted by NavarreCategory: Imperial Fist
Lil’ Ragnaros, the Tiniest Firelord
Ragnaros, the dread master of all fire elementals, will return in Cataclysm to avenge his defeat in Molten Core. And what better way to head into battle than with a miniature version of the firelord himself following at your beck and call? Lil’ Ragnaros, just like his full-scale namesake, burns with constant fury (not to mention flames that serve as a handy cooking fire) and comes equipped with the legendary hammer Sulfuras. And as a being of pure elemental fire, he has no need to walk from place to place — he just submerges into the magma below the world’s surface when you start walking and reemerges when you stop.
Moonkin Hatchling Charity Pet — For the Children!
The googly-eyed Moonkin Hatchling, which comes in unique Horde and Alliance versions, will occasionally plant flowers at your feet, and happily /dances with any willing partners. Like last year’s Pandaren Monk, the Moonkin Hatchling has a soft spot for helping children. For every Moonkin Hatchling adopted from now through December 31, 2010, Blizzard Entertainment will donate 50% of the $10 purchase price to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
The Lich King’s reign of terror was over. As if to affirm that a bright future would soon dawn on Azeroth, other joyful events occurred across the world. Archdruid Malfurion Stormrage was at last freed from his imprisonment by the shadowy Emerald Nightmare through the efforts of his love, High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind, and her allies. Elsewhere, after years in exile, the highly intelligent gnomes and the fearless Darkspear trolls made gains toward reclaiming their respective homes in Gnomeregan and on the Echo Isles.
Yet just as hope was beginning to surge among Azeroth’s races, tragedy struck. The world’s elemental spirits grew increasingly erratic, setting off a series of deadly natural disasters. Agents of the nefarious Twilight’s Hammer cult surfaced throughout Horde and Alliance cities, spreading word of the impending apocalypse. The world’s leaders scrambled to find a solution to Azeroth’s growing instability.
In the dwarven bastion of Ironforge, King Magni Bronzebeard undertook a mystic ritual to commune with the earth. The ceremony, however, had an unexpected effect: Magni was transformed into diamond and became fused to the depths of the mountain city itself. In the wake of his petrification, the Bronzebeard, Wildhammer, and Dark Iron clans agreed to rule over Ironforge via the Council of Three Hammers, but the city’s future remained uncertain.
Meanwhile, Thrall journeyed to his ancestors’ lands in Nagrand, hoping to glean insight from Outland’s elemental spirits as well as other respected shaman. In his absence, Thrall appointed Garrosh Hellscream, son of the legendary orc Grom, as acting Horde warchief. Garrosh’s brash demeanor inflamed relations between the Horde and the Alliance. A gruesome slaughter of druids in Ashenvale, which the Twilight’s Hammer had perpetrated to look like an act of the Horde, escalated tensions further and sowed mistrust among Garrosh’s own comrades.
In particular, Garrosh infuriated Cairne Bloodhoof, the wise tauren high chieftain. Believing that the new warchief would lead the Horde to ruin, Cairne challenged Garrosh to a duel of honor. Although the mighty tauren fought valiantly, no amount of strength could have led him to victory. The matriarch of the Grimtotem tauren tribe, Magatha, had poisoned Garrosh’s blade, unbeknownst to either of the duel’s combatants. Cairne became immobilized after he received a flesh wound during the battle, allowing the new warchief to land a killing blow.
Following the duel, Magatha’s agents seized the tauren capital of Thunder Bluff for the Grimtotem. The usurpers also intended to murder Cairne’s son, Baine, but the young tauren eluded his assassins and staged a counterattack. Ultimately, Baine and his forces reclaimed Thunder Bluff, expelling Magatha and her traitorous followers from tauren lands forever.
Unaware of these critical events, Thrall received an ominous warning in Nagrand from the Fury of Earth: the fear and turmoil of Azeroth’s elementals echoed the condition of Outland just before that world—then known as Draenor—had been ripped apart. Yet Thrall had little time to act on this unsettling revelation….
In a sudden upheaval eclipsing the world’s recent elemental unrest, Azeroth shattered. Violent quakes tore through the earth. Mountains of fire and magma burst from the ground. Colossal tidal waves obliterated coastlines and caused widespread flooding.
The Cataclysm had begun.
To be continued in part two of “The Story So Far…”.

Secrets of Ulduar, the new World of Warcraft content update, is now live! The gates of the mysterious titan stronghold of Ulduar have swung open, granting players access to an all-new level-80 raid dungeon with normal (10-person) and heroic (25-person) versions and optional hard-mode encounters for those seeking an additional challenge. Secrets of Ulduar also includes the new Argent Tournament in Icecrown Citadel, cross-language battlegrounds, the dual-talent-specialization feature, multiple user-interface upgrades, and some significant changes to class talents and abilities. Be sure to visit your class trainer, as all talent points have been reset.
Plus
- Dual Spec
- UI Improvements
- The Argent Tournament
- Dungeon Maps
- and more
For millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. Yet since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structure’s original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city, built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty Titans themselves. Such speculations were wrong. Beyond Ulduar’s gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titan’s mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merely… contained.

According to reports from around Azeroth, infected crates can now be found in some major cities. Other reports inform us of Infected Roaches spreading the disease if you kill them. Looking at the 3.02 patch notes and the main header image we can only imagen what will happen at a later stage.
Found in the rotting diary of Eric Farrington in the dead city of Andorhal…
Wednesday
My beloved home, Andorhal, has fallen victim to an evil plague. I have witnessed the horrors of the Scourge firsthand, and seen unimaginable things. Death was not granted to my loved ones. Instead, everyone I’ve ever known has turned into monsters. Monsters of unfathomable, relentless viciousness!
I thought naught of a few illnesses, a few fevers. We continued to ship out crates of grain to Lordaeron, and we weren’t fearful of this new sickness — we were confident our healers could handle it. I know now that was foolish, blind.
The denizens of Andorhal turned into vile zombies of the Scourge. These monstrosities no longer held any thoughts or abilities from their mortal lives. Most certain of all, they readily used new powers we had never seen before to further spread the disease and hasten the destruction of the city.
I have been hiding for two days in the sewers, but I must venture out soon to find supplies or possibly a way out of the city to the forests.
Friday
Help me, I’ve been bitten!
I cannot believe I was foolish enough to think I could sneak past all of them on the streets. The zombies are everywhere now, and Andorhal is only a shell of its former glory, a sad and twisted remnant of my beautiful home.
I can already feel the disease taking me. May the light bless me as I go to be with my family and friends once again. I’m not sure how much longer I can keep my sanity. I am weak. I hunger, and must eat…
Eat…
Brains…
The Scourge Invasion is upon us! Prepare yourself for the deadly onslaught of the Scourge, unleashed upon Azeroth and all its denizens.
All players will have their talent points reimbursed and will have access to new talents throughout their trees; this includes the 51-point talents. Several new spells and abilities have been added for all classes. Players will need to visit their class trainer to learn new spells
Cold Weather Flying was indeed a part of a quest line, but we changed it because we felt that it wasn’t clear enough where to get it.
This ability will now be purchasable instead, and the 1000 gold cost has been tuned around the amount of gold people will usually have gathered around level 77. At that level we expect you will have more than enough gold to afford getting the Cold Weather Flying ability.
We had hoped that the introduction of some new Honor rewards in the upcoming patch would give players a great opportunity to spend any of their remaining Honor. However, many players would still be surprised by an Honor and token reset as it isn’t something we’ve done in the past. As such, we’ve decided to not reset Honor or tokens upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their Honor will be able to spend it on level 80 rewards, although those rewards will be significantly more expensive than their level 70 counterparts.
Upcoming Honor Items and Honor Reset

As many of you know we will be featuring a new Battleground, a dedicated world PvP zone and all new PvP items in Wrath of the Lich King. In order to make the transition from The Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King flow as smoothly as possible, all accrued honor points will be reset at the launch of the expansion. We do this to ensure select players do not have an unfair advantage at level 80 from stockpiling honor to instantly purchase the newest Wrath of the Lich King PvP rewards. For those with unspent honor points prior to the release of the expansion, we will be offering a few upgrades and special rewards in next content patch solely for purchase via the honor system.

You guys have discovered our Heirloom items. These (as you know) are Bound to account, which means you can mail them to any character on the same realm. They also scale with level. So you can mail these to a level one character and it will have appropriate stats (although slightly uber) for about 10 levels and then the item scales in power again, all the way up to how you’re seeing it now.
We’re also going to add some Bind on Account non-scaling items for higher level alts. in the future.

Content Patch before Wrath of the Lich King
Wed 10 Sep 2008 posted by NavarreCategory: Blue Tracker
With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching, we wanted to provide you with some important information. In preparation for the expansion, we will be issuing a new content patch in the coming weeks. Much like the patch made available shortly before The Burning Crusade’s release, this content patch is designed to bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions.
We have outlined some of the larger features scheduled to release with the patch below:
- New class spells and talents.
- Barbershops in capital cities.
- Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades.
- Stormwind Harbour.
- In-game guild calendar.
- Hunter pet skill revamp.
- New profession: Inscription.
- Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles:
- Orgrimmar Arena.
- Dalaran Arena.
As mentioned above, this is not a comprehensive list, just some of the major highlights. We’ll post the full patch notes as soon as they’re available.
Regarding Inscription, please note that all Burning Crusade players will be able to select Inscription as one of their two professions and level up to a skill level of 375 with it. Upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King, players who purchase and install the expansion will be able to continue leveling in Inscription and the other professions beyond 375.

Imperial Fist (Feb 2005-Feb 2008) – End of an era
Thu 14 Feb 2008 posted by NavarreCategory: Imperial Fist, Members
Every now and then, a fresh start is all people need to notice that they are the ones making things shape. And from this day, Imperial Fist will no longer be.
I hope the members find or form a new guild and remember some of the things I tryed to keep in high value. From day one on Bloodhoof, back in February 2005, was based on friendship, sharing and enjoyment. Three years have passed and I have only good memories of those day.
Sure there were complications, but nothing we couldnt over come. This time its different, I fail to see the problem, I fail to feel the need to make rules or babysit people. I do still not see the problem(s) of the uneased feelings in the guild. I have enjoyed playing with you and will to the last day.
I kindly ask members to start looking for a new guild, or if a “pheonix” is made join that. Guildbank items will be given to this pheonix to give it a good boost into the dungeons of SSC and soon even Hyjal.
Forums and Website will stay up for atleast another 2 weeks. Guild will stand another 2 weeks to, then the roster will be cleaned.
I want to thank each and everyone, past and present members for your time, patience and devotion.
Your GM, Navarre – Requiem
After some wiping we managed to get Hydross to enrage, from there we just added some dps and wiped a again. But finally we got him down on our last try for the night. With two bosses in SSC down now it is where we have our main focus at the moment.
(Screenshot will be added shortly)
Imperial Fist is looking for a few more members to join our community. We are currently looking for members who can join 1-3 times/week our raids. Usual raid times are mon-fri 20:00-22:30 servertime. The current recruitement boost is to ensure our 25man runs (focus is on SSC and The Eye). Don’t hasitate to contact us.
